Our Mission

Sprouting Leaders is a non-profit charitable organization dedicated to the academic and personal development of Chicago’s inner-city youth. 

Our mission is to empower our youth to reach their goals by providing guidance,  positive direction, leadership development and promoting education to help enrich  their life experiences. Our program helps improve self-esteem, social competence, and avoid high-risk behaviors by providing relationships with caring, professional adults who work to help them reach their goal. Our successful method thus far has been a collaborative pairing of college mentors with 6th-8th grade students.  

Our current endeavor focuses on the development of students in underserved communities of Chicago.
